We are looking for a near Chartered Structural Engineer to join our client's Civil and Structural Design Consultancy based in Plymouth. Their portfolio of work is constantly growing, making them a very busy team. You will be working on complex and exciting projects within a range of sectors, including retail, commercial, residential, leisure and marine! To be considered for this role, you will have gained a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, be working towards Chartership status with IStructE/ICE and have a couple of years of experience in structural design on a broad range of projects and materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Working on projects from inception through to completion stage
2. Preparation, issue and management of technical project information, including calculations and drawings
3. Assisting with preparing fee proposals as directed
4. Site inspections and surveys
