We are delighted to be working exclusively with a multi vet team based in Scotland.
This role would be ideal for a small animal vet with 2 or more years of experience and a bias towards surgery. You’ll get 2 dedicated op days out of 4 each week, allowing you to really further your surgical expertise.
The team:
A team of 5 vets currently, most with 10 years experience or more – you’ll be surrounded by a highly skilled team, working together and providing exceptional veterinary care.
Along with the support of 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, and VCAs.
Notable team members include a vet working towards a medicine certificate, a Clinical Director confident with most soft tissue surgeries, an RVN specialising in rabbit care, another who played a key role in achieving their ISFM Silver Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation, and an HRVN who is a clinical coach.
The caseload:
This is a busy first opinion practice, where you’ll take on a varied first opinion small animal caseload that will allow you to utilise and develop in both consulting and surgery skills. They are happy to nurture and support your surgical interest further.

* It is a bustling single-site practice in a purpose built facility, with RCVS Accreditation, VetGDP and VN Training Practice status!
* The clinic boasts a bright and spacious waiting area, four consulting rooms (including a dedicated nurse consultation room), and a fully equipped surgical theatre. It features a radiography and dentistry suite with up-to-date equipment, as well as an in-house lab equipped with Idexx analysers and a microscope. Advanced diagnostic tools include ultrasound, endoscopy, therapeutic laser, and modern dental radiography equipment.
Hours:
This is where is gets even better because there is a flexible rota to suit you, with no OOHs or Sunday work – just a Saturday morning once every five weeks! Open to part or full time.
