Facilities Services Manager
Working Hours: Full time, All year round.

Diverse Academies Trust are looking for a Facilities Services Manager to join our talented and supportive team. We would very much recommend and welcome you for a visit so you can meet us and understand our organisation.
The opportunity
The trust will be joined by two new purpose-built academies along with the new build of an existing academy.
Yeoman Park (SEND) Academy, Mansfield Woodhouse is being replaced with a new building, due to open in February 2025. Alongside this we will be opening a new primary free school at Thoresby Vale, Edwinstowe in September 2025. A further 160 place SEN academy in Mansfield, provisionally opening in January 2026.
As such we require a facilities manager to take responsibility for the management of these new generation of school buildings, the systems and operation of them. Initially, the role will be based at Yeoman Park Academy ensuring a sufficient handover of the building and operation moving forward.
As the projects for the new academies develop, the Facilities Services Manager will play a vital part in the progression and execution of these.

Yeoman Park is a specialist academy for children aged 3-19 with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties based in Mansfield Woodhouse with 111 pupils. In our latest Ofsted inspection, we were rated ‘outstanding’.

The successful candidate will:
* Provide a professional and proactive service to the highest levels, ensuring a safe learning and working environment for the benefit of the students and staff.
* Take responsibility for the management and oversight of all systems, ensuring correct operation effectiveness and efficiencies, servicing and other statutory requirements are met.
* Manage compliance, health and safety for these sites, including developing of risk assessments and operational procedures.
* Arrange, manage and facilitate service contracts and maintenance work as required.
* Develop knowledge of our other academy sites to facilitate and work flexibly across the Trust when required.
* Manage and co-ordinate the site assistants as these academies open and others in the locality.
Essential:
* Professional qualification in Facilities Management / Electrical / Mechanical
* Experience of controlling and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) and control operations, maintenance and improvement
* NEBOSH general certificate or similar
Desirable:
* Experience of working in educational settings
