This role offers the successful applicant an opportunity to gain a broader understanding, acquire new skills and gain knowledge in Housing Management whilst working towards your Level 3 Housing Apprentice Qualification. You will be joining a high performing team who are embarking on an exciting period of change to meet the increased demand for our services. Your days/weeks will be diverse and varied to best suit the needs of duties within the apprenticeship. A mix of accompanying visits, office-based tasks and working from home will provide a modern “hybrid” approach to achieving your competencies and requirements of the apprenticeship qualification.
As a Tenancy Services Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to engage with various teams across the Council playing an important role in assisting our Tenancy Services to provide a valuable service to our tenants. This could include, assisting the Income Team with collecting rent that is due, assisting with home visits to capture up to date information on our tenants and their homes or attending community events or assisting with project events.
We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our friendly, hard-working team who have a comprehensive knowledge of housing management and communities across Ipswich. This is an excellent environment for an apprenticeship to acquire new skills with various internal opportunities for training, development, progression, and a generous staff offer.
Hours of work are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This apprenticeship is offered on an 18-month fixed term contract.
