Description and Requirements
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Lenovo 4P Team to own the product and business management aspect of the Tablet category, for both consumer & commercial.
The role of the 4P in Lenovo is a pivotal role in the success of the business. We are a small team, and each person in the team needs to contribute for us to deliver our business plans.
You'll be responsible for:
* Creating and driving the channel strategy alongside the Consumer & Commercial Sales Directors
* P&L accountability alongside Head of Consumer & Commercial 4P
* Weekly analysis of the market conditions using the Lenovo tools and systems as well as building your own understanding of what the key drivers
* Engagement with colleagues from the Worldwide and EMEA teams
* Shaping the UK&I product line ups by selecting the right products and configurations from the Global Lenovo product portfolio
* Collaborating with the Sales Team to sell in new product ranges for key customers.
* Supporting the Sales Team with input for the Joint Business Plans with customers
* Working closely with the marketing team to maximise promotional investments.
* Managing the promotional calendar & budget to drive sell out targets and deliver the best return investment for Lenovo
You'll bring:
* A commercial thinker who is passionate about technology
* A creative problem solver who will bring strong ideas and opinions to the table
* Experience of the Consumer Electronics industry either within Category/ Business Management or in a buying role within a retailer or distributor (Accessories & FMCG also considered)
* Experience of managing a P&L
* Able to influence others, including EMEA & local directors, local sales and marketing and teams, customers & partners
* Strong internal and external networking skills
* Confident and flexible presenter
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
