Venture Recruitment Partners is working on an exclusive basis with a Littlehampton-based manufacturing business in their search for a Finance Manager on an interim basis. This role offers an element of hybrid working, with approx. 1 day from home. Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the month-end process
* Performing the month-end procedures in the accounting software including all Journals, Cash book reconciliations and Daybook Close out.
* Responsibility for the maintenance and processing of accruals and prepayments
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Presenting results at routine meetings with budget holders
* Assisting with the annual budgetary and forecast process
* Providing information to budget holders upon request
* Reviewing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
Key Skills :
* Good Understanding of Operational and Financial issues in a Manufacturing business
* Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
* Experience with ERP system functions and financial systems
