What You’ll Bring:
HRConnect are looking for a customer focused individual to join their recruitment team. The successful candidate will provide an effective and comprehensive end-to-end recruitment service from advertising through to onboarding new starters, as well as processing new starters for payroll ensuring high levels of accuracy, compliance and attention to detail.
What You’ll Achieve:
As a Recruitment Assistant you will:
Manage the full recruitment process using TribePad, including advert creation, shortlisting, interview scheduling, pre-employment checks, and contract issuance.
Process HR data, ensuring accurate documentation, timely payroll, and compliance with regulations, while maintaining employee records across systems like Oracle and iTrent.
Stay informed on HR and payroll regulations, conduct manual payroll calculations, and assist with user acceptance testing and process improvements.
Implement and review office systems, contribute to team knowledge through briefings and training, and work flexibly to meet business demands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal HR teams, managers, and external customers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and accurate data handling.

What We Require:
Previous experience within an operational payroll, recruitment or HR team is desirable but not essential
Excellent customer service, communication and system skills
Willingness to study and achieve a Foundation Certificate in HR Practice (formerly CPP) or Foundation Degree in Payroll Management.
The ability to establish and maintain good partnerships working with managers and colleagues
Strong organisational skills to be able to prioritise workload, work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
