Main duties of the job
You will be a competent and integral part of the team, supporting the medical and nursing staff in the Emergency Admissions Unit in the provision of high quality, dignified and compassionate patient care.

Person specification
Education
Essential Criteria
1. Five GCSEs or Equivalent including Maths and English.
2. Demonstrates willingness to undertake further education.
Desirable criteria
1. Care certificate or NVQ level 3 in care subject
2. Extended skills relevant to role
Communication
Essential Criteria
1. Demonstrates good written communication
2. Demonstrates good verbal communication
Desirable criteria
1. Demonstrates patient advocacy and escalation of concerns
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Recent experience of working in a healthcare setting.
2. Proficiency in ECG recording, cannulation and venepuncture
Desirable criteria
1. Currently working as CSA in acute hospital setting
2. Currently/recently worked as band 3 HCA/CSA in EADU
