We're looking for two Agents to join our Transportation team based in Penrith to assist the project team in setting and delivering a high performing contract on the A66 Scotch Corner to Penrith scheme. One role will have an initial focus on STATS Diversions and Trenchless Crossings, while the second will focus on detailed sequencing and planning of structures.

Location: Penrith - site based
Contract: Permanent Fulltime
Salary: £57,600 - £67,600 per annum + £6,700 annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Responsibilities
As an Agent, you'll specify, schedule and manage the engineering resources (people, and physical assets) to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme to the design specification and to implement the plan safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit.
Your day to day will include:
* Management of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) matters for areas of direct responsibility
* Manage pre-construction through construction to close out to meet all contractual requirements
* Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient site management of the project quality objectives. Promote continuous improvement and share good practice at project level and within the business
* To lead, manage and motivate the engineering and design staff on the scheme and to establish its full contribution to the organisation

* Relevant construction related Degree / HNC
* Experience in a similar role within highways
* CSCS card
* SMSTS
