Responsibilities
In this role, you will support and deliver the highest quality technical support to the UK systems integrators, consultants and end users also across Ireland, Nordics, Eastern and Southern Europe markets. You will provide hardware and software application support and will support the team in delivering the training curriculum for Q-SYS and other specialist QSC platforms.
* Provide Applications support and QSC Training content to the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Eastern and Southern Europe market.
* Ensure the highest level of customer experience whilst identifying solutions to software and hardware issues.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including programming, commissioning and network configuration.
* Track and monitor system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
* Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. product managers).
* Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers whilst ensuring all issues are logged accordingly.
* Manage the follow up procedure to ensure systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
* Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
* Maintain and build an excellent relationship with customers and end users.
* In conjunction with the product development teams, participate in market research, competitor and customer surveys.
* Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
* Attend industry training and develop relevant knowledge and skills to enhance performance.
Your Profile
* Education to degree level or qualification in industry relevant field such as sound/video engineering, or a qualification in a relevant field such as Crestron, Biamp, Cisco or Dante is preferred.
* Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Installation Engineer, Commissioning Technician or similar role.
* Comprehensive understanding of audio, video and networking is essential.
* Experience with technical diagnosis applications.
* Ability to learn – looking to grow both professionally and personally.

* Well organised to manage conflicting priorities.
* Excellent problem-solving skills individually and as part of a team.
* Strong people management and leadership skills.
* Confident and engaging presentation skills.

* Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written).
