Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world Responsibilities: Develop relationships with existing clients, licensees and sales agents, both within the UK and overseas to maximise potential opportunities and business growth Identify and develop relationships with new clients within the UK and Ireland for Aquabio’s targeted industries, to maximise potential new opportunities and business growth Collaboration where required with industry consultants, business partners & agents in order to promote and develop business activities within the UK and Ireland Assistance with coordination of UK and overseas tenders, both direct and via partners and licensees Assistance with the tendering process and allocation of tendering resources as appropriate, collaborating with the Head of Sales and coordinating with other Aquabio personnel to support the production of conceptual, budget and fixed price quotations along with feasibility study proposals, including: Assistance and coordination of proposal preparation and production of proposal documentation Assistance and support of cost estimations, pricing and operation costs Assistance and support of preparation and production of customer presentations ensure customer needs are correctly interpreted and reflected in the company's commercial offers, maximising business opportunities Assist with contract preparation and contract negotiation for proposals Engage and negotiate with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure scope and pricing is optimised for tenders Perform sales activities for major customers and negotiate sales prices and discounts in consultation with Aquabio personnel Contribute to the development and coordination of Aquabio’s strategy for Business Development, marketing and sales for the UK and Ireland Assist with specific sales and marketing plans to ensure revenue growth Attend weekly and monthly sales and marketing meetings with other Aquabio personnel and follow up on resulting actions, updating your line manager, as required, to keep them informed Identify, organise and attend exhibitions/seminars/conferences in order to network, develop new opportunities, and assess competitors and identify new technologies, ensuring market awareness Work within allocated budgets for Sales & Marketing, promotion exhibitions, trade shows and travel Assist and contribute with contractual negotiations with prospective customers during the pre-contract stages, including for large contracts based on industry standard contracts e.g. IChemE, NEC, IE formats, with support of Head of Sales Carry out duties as defined in Health and safety management system HSMS. Qualifications: Practical experience in business, particularly water and wastewater treatment related activities Ideally an understanding of, and experience in negotiation of, turnkey design & build, equipment supply forms of contract, e.g. IChemE, IEE, NEC Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers Can demonstrate initiative and inventive qualities with an entrepreneurial outlook Can work within deadlines and complete work in timely manner Excellent communication skills Excellent networking skills Excellent negotiating skills and ability to ‘close’ out deals The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
