The successful Sustaining Hardware Engineer will be qualified to a minimum of Bachelors Degree level in an Engineering discipline, will possess expertise in high-speed digital circuit design as well as having good debugging skills.
What youll be involved with:
As a Sustaining Hardware Engineer you will re-design legacy products from identification of requirements through to final verification testing; creating schematic and PCB designs whilst ensuring original requirements are achieved. You will use the latest components on the market to extend product lifecycles contributing to the evolution of the hardware to keep existing products in the market for longer.
The Sustaining Hardware Engineer should bring the following:
Degree qualification in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Proven Industrial experience of High-Speed Digital Design.
Some experience working with PC Motherboard architecture such as PCI Express, Microprocessors, Ethernet, DDR4 memory.
An understanding of embedded Software.
Familiarity with Programmable logic devices or FPGAs.
Excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills.
