Job Summary: Altus Group is delighted to announce a new opportunity for a Surveyor Operations Executive to join our busy Surveyor Operations Support team in Manchester. The Surveyor Operations Executive will support all ongoing casework related to business rates appeals by ensuring that internal and external stakeholders are updated, and all required information is processed and submitted in agreed timeframes. The successful candidate will be uniquely positioned to provide direct support to multiple teams, as well as collaborate on different functions within the team and the wider business. Key Responsibilities Update and investigate internal systems to ensure all relevant information is recorded correctly and in real time. Successfully assist in coordination of appeals to the Valuation Tribunal Service (VTS) Compile appeal evidence bundles, appeal submissions, payments to Valuation Tribunal Service, processing tribunal documents received/sent. Provide a key point of contact for tribunal clerks where necessary as well as internal teams relating to appeal documentation, hearing attendees and appeal process. Efficiently communicate with internal and external stakeholders (Internal: line manager, surveyor operations executives, client services, surveyors (all levels), senior management, regional vice presidents, executive vice presidents and finance | external: VTS and Valuation Office Agency). Assisting and ensuring all client rateable value movements are investigated and actioned accordingly i.e. raising valuation increases/decreases to internal stakeholders – client services, surveyors and senior management Ensuring the system has the most up to date information following deletions in the rating list Keeping up to date with latest processes and procedures (internally and externally) through team meetings, training sessions as well as independent investigation To report any complexed queries and issues to the Surveyor Operations Team Leader, Senior Manager and colleagues.
