About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of the team, contributing to exceptional patient care and supporting the veterinary professionals in all aspects of clinical practice. Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with patient examinations, surgery, diagnostics, and general nursing duties.
2. Administering medications, vaccinations, and prescribed treatments.
3. Monitoring the health and behaviour of animals in care, providing tailored nursing support.
4. Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment.
5. Conducting laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis.
6. Educating clients on animal care, promoting best practices.
7. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organised clinic environment.
What They're Looking For
1. A Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS membership.
2. Prior experience in a veterinary hospital setting is highly desirable.
3. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
4. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
5. A compassionate approach to animal care and a genuine passion for the welfare of pets.
6. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
