We are looking to recruit for a Health and Safety Manager to cover the Midlands and the North.
Reporting into the Head of Health and Safety, the successful candidate will have the following roles and responsibilities. The list is not exhaustive:
* To lead, manage and promote a positive Health and Safety culture
* Supporting the delivery and implementation of the safety strategy across the Group
* Maintain and lead a virtual network of Health and Safety Champions for their region, providing mentorship and guidance
* Engaging and supporting Safety Champions for timely implementation of corrective actions
* Supporting the investigation of accidents and incidents within their area of responsibility, making recommendations to prevent a re-occurrence, and attending incident review panels where required
* Manage and lead Health and Safety improvement projects, gaining buy-in from different levels across the Group
* Providing Health and Safety advice and support to senior leaders within the business
* Collaboratively working with Primary Care Directors and Managing Directors for their region, sharing Health and Safety performance and identifying barriers
* Undertaking safety inspections at practices and other Linnaeus Group locations as required
* Leading new Business Unit acquisitions through the Health and Safety integrations process
* Attendance and presentation of subject matter expertise at Group-wide Update/CPD meetings
* Undertaking regular reviews of action plans at Linnaeus Group practices in respect of Health, Safety and compliance audits, Fire Risk Assessments, or Enforcing Authority visits/interventions.
* To actively participate in additional training and CPD as may be required in support of the Linnaeus Group objectives
* To act as an ambassador and uphold the highest professional standards at all times whilst engaged on the Linnaeus Group business
* To work in the best interests of the Linnaeus Group at all times and actively work towards achieving the Company's objectives
To undertake additional roles and responsibilities as may be deemed necessary from time to time commensurate with the Terms and Conditions of Employment.
