The Role: Social and content has never been more important for clients. Showing up authentically, with intention, across social platforms helps brands connect with their audiences. This will involve working with our strategy, creative and production team to deliver best in class content. As an Account Director at Ogilvy, you are an integral part of the day-to-day running of the business, partnering with PMO and Account Management to deliver operational discipline & delivery excellence, speed to market, resource optimisation, and profitability management to client business. You are highly organised and accountable, and able to build relationships and collaborate with/draw on the expertise of Ogilvy’s vast resources and capabilities. You confidently manage projects end-to-end and can show that you truly understand our product and how creativity and commerciality interact together for the benefit for the work and the business. Content will be amplified to social channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube so we are looking for someone with experience managing content creation and delivery across these platforms. Content has a wide focus across all EMEA markets and will be developed for a wide range of audiences’, interests, and formats. You’ll not only deliver content but ensure it is performing and effective on an on-going basis, leaning into our research and data team. You’ll have a strong interest and knowledge of platform requirements and the nuances required in the production of assets across each channel. This role will be working on an exciting brand that is making moves in the sportswear category. The role will include the oversight of content productions – from low-fi Maker style shot content through to high production value films – the idea candidate will have experience covering both.
