Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging and informative Music lessons across a range of year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for music making, performance, and music theory. Guide students in developing their musical skills, including instrumental playing, vocal techniques, and music appreciation. Support and collaborate with colleagues in the Music department to enhance the curriculum and contribute to school-wide events (as applicable for the part-time schedule). You may have the opportunity to contribute to the development of extracurricular activities, such as choirs, ensembles, or musical productions (depending on your area of expertise and interests). The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music or a relevant subject (desirable). Demonstrates a strong passion for music education, a captivating teaching style, and a commitment to fostering musical talent in young people. Has experience in creating engaging and differentiated lessons for a part-time schedule. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
