This hands-on role involves operating and monitoring process and frying equipment, carrying out essential tasks such as line changeovers, mixing, flavouring, QA checks, and oil management. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety, ensuring compliance with COSHH and Lock Off procedures. With a strong focus on performance, you'll help us meet output, efficiency, and waste reduction targets while accurately completing all required documentation. Operate and monitor process and packaging equipment, ensuring smooth line changeovers in packing, palletising, mixing, flavouring, and product inspection. Conduct quality checks including weight, moisture, and FFA tests, ensuring all products meet specifications at every stage of either process or packing. Carry out routine cleaning, end-of-shift procedures, and support shutdown processes to high hygiene standards. Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time, including quality, cleaning, and production records. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including COSHH and Lock Off protocols, promoting a safety-first culture. Support continuous improvement by identifying and addressing issues, contributing to key projects and performance targets. Be flexible in supporting other manufacturing areas and actively participate in training, 1-to-1s, and development activities. Who are we? We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience: Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment (ideally within food or FMCG). Confident operating machinery and carrying out basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspection, and lubrication. Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards, including COSHH and Lock Off procedures. Comfortable completing accurate paperwork and documentation in line with quality standards. Able to follow processes, work to targets, and maintain attention to detail under pressure. A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to take ownership.
