This position is for a full time Career, Information Advice & Guidance Advisor in prison education.
The role is based near York, in a brand new prison.
As a CIAG Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting learners by providing information and advice, ensuring that they are prepared to find and maintain employment opportunities.
Identifying the individual needs of learners ensuring that all learners have an individual learning plan which links to their long-term employment goals.

Promote Job Readiness & Employment Preparation
Collaborate with Employment Hub Partners
Facilitate RoTL Placements
Work schedule: Full time 38.5 hours per week
Salary scale: Up to £27,600 per annum
Annual leave: 30 days per annum
To be considered, suitable candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
IAG qualification at Level 4 or above
AET Qualification at Level 3 is desirable
Experience in providing career guidance, ideally within criminal justice, education, or employability settings.
Exceptional communication, mentoring, and organisational skills.
