As an Account Manager you will grow our SME Account volumes in line with or exceeding budget by developing existing customers and onboarding new ones. In this role you will manage the relationship between the SME Customers and Evri and ensure that all aspects of Evri Business accounts are managed in a profitable manner.
You will be accountable for:
1. Manage Evri Business Accounts to ensure we maximize our share of their shipped volume and ensure all accounts achieve or exceed budget and cross sales targets
2. Compile accurate reports for SME Team Manager, detailing budgets, expected volume, rates and sales opportunities, providing a clear explanation of the factors impacting the accounts
3. Conduct client visits in line with the visit cycle and upon request to build and maintain relationships
4. Conduct phone calls in line with the call cycle, being available to receive calls from yours and your colleagues accounts to fit within the requirement of the business
5. Build and maintain relationships to drive compliance and improve sales
6. Manage the targets for customer retention and ensure delivery of those targets by maintaining an excellent relationship with the SME Account Holder
7. Prepare and maintain records within the CRM system for each customer to ensure the business can forecast account volume, assess account performance and apply the correct pricing
8. Once an account has been allocated by the team manager liaise with the New Business Sales Manager to ensure the smooth transfer of all allocated clients
9. Work closely with operations and customer services to ensure that Clients receive the service they require
To be successful in this role you will require the following…
You will be a confident person with an ability to develop strong relationships with existing customers, to increase sales, maximise cross sales of Next Day, International and Digital products, ensuring that all accounts are trading to or exceed agreed volumes.
10. Previous experience within an account management role or similar
11. High level of competence in use of Microsoft Office is essential and Oracle Right Now Service Cloud is ideal
12. Some customer database management experience
13. B2C home shopping/e-commerce industry knowledge and experience is ideal
14. Capability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
15. Have an outgoing personality with confidence to make sales presentations and challenge assumptions.
