Job Title:Customer Service Representative

Duration: 3 months (with possibleextension)
Summary
The Customer ServiceRepresentative manages and supports key customers and territories.Duties include quoting purchase order review data entry andmanagement working with customer portals resolving customer issuesrelated to production orders and officebased administration supportfor both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
* Improve levels of customer satisfaction in allfacets of customer service consistent with businessgoals
* Acts as liaison between company andcustomer to ensure excellent communication and customer relationsare sustained
* Maintain a professional imagewhile answering customer (internal and external) inquiries andresolving outstanding concerns
* Answerscustomer inquiries in person on the phone and throughemail
* Supports onsite customer visits andcoordinates crossorganizational resources
* Attends mandatory pit stops to discuss escalations andissues with crossorganizational resources
* Attends daily Tier meetings
* Providescustomers with price and delivery to fulfill RFQs
* Follows up on outstanding quotes and converts toorders
* Completes contract review order entryand submits POs for internal flow down execution
* Accesses and maintains customer portals daily forassigned accounts
* Displays empathy forcustomer concerns and handles situations in the best interest ofthe company and customer
* Researches andresolves pending items customer concerns and complaints in a timelymanner
* Coordinates with internal departments(Shop Floor Program Managers etc.) to support expedite requests andcreate recovery plans for delinquent orders
* Attend crossfunctional meetings required to supportcustomer issues and expectations
* Performsbacklog audits and PO reconciliation for assigned accounts on aregular basis
* Evaluates customer demandinquiries and mitigates risk for customers and thecompany
* Maintains accountspecific workinstructions for assigned customers
* Updatesforecasting module regularly to ensure appropriate demand loadedfor assigned accounts
* Assists Accounting andShared Services with collection efforts
* Complies with export compliance guidelines
* Follows company policies and procedures
* Builds longterm relationships with new and existingcustomers
* Contributes daily to team success bydisplaying a positive attitude while assisting customers andemployees
* Actively supports Operating Systemand contributes to 6S initiatives
* Providesfurther support as requested
* Balances team andindividual responsibilities
* Identifies andresolves problems quickly and accurately
* Willingness to change and strive forimprovement
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
* 5 ormore years as a Customer Service Representative in a ManufacturingEnvironment.
* 3 or more years inmanufacturing/aerospace.
* Experience withContracts Management FAR/DFAR compliance andobligations.
