This high-impact role is your opportunity to shape and execute a long-term strategy for offshore support vessels, ROVs, AUVs/ASVs, and hydrographic survey equipment. Upon joining, your milestones will include: 30 Days: Build strong relationships with project and operational stakeholders, and enhance collaboration across asset-dependent teams. 60 Days: Review, assess and begin planning improvements to asset scheduling, maintenance, and utilisation processes. 90 Days: Implement structured asset tracking and reporting systems, and begin shaping Beam’s long-term asset procurement and maintenance strategy. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of an asset management strategy aligned with company growth goals. Optimise deployment and scheduling of vessels and equipment to maximise utilisation and reduce downtime. Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance to improve asset reliability and lifecycle. Develop KPI frameworks to measure performance, drive efficiencies and improve project margins. Manage procurement and logistics of critical offshore assets, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition. Establish and oversee warehousing, logistics, and goods in/out processes. Drive compliance with HSE standards, marine regulations, and offshore asset management best practices. Work closely with the executive team to shape vessel strategy, chartering, and maintenance planning. Manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide financial analysis on asset performance. Build and develop a high-performing, collaborative asset management team. You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role: Extensive experience managing subsea and offshore assets, ideally including ROVs, AUVs/ASVs, survey equipment, and DP2 vessels. A proven track record in building scalable, effective asset management functions. Deep understanding of offshore asset operations, safety, compliance, and technical standards. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute asset strategies aligned with business needs. Strong commercial and financial awareness with experience managing P&L or departmental budgets. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence across functions and build trust.
