Job Opportunity: Year 2 Teacher (4 Days per Week, Fixed-Term)
Protocol Education is delighted to partner with a prestigious primary school in Cambridge to find a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher for a fixed-term position. This four-day-per-week role will run until the end of the academic year and offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact on young learners.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that align with the Year 2 curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students, promoting an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and colleagues, supporting a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
* Communicate regularly with parents and carers to provide updates on progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
* A strong commitment to nurturing young learners and fostering their curiosity and love of learning.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and flexibility to support the school community.
* Knowledge of the British National Curriculum and the ability to tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
