Are you passionate about supporting children and families? If so, look no further We are seeking a full time Family Support Worker to work across our Family Hubs within Sandwell. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a passionate and committed team and be an active member of the wider Family Hub Network. Our Family Support team take an active role in working with partner organisations, local communities, and residents to achieve best outcomes for the children and families within Sandwell. You will be working with a strengths-based, trauma informed and relational approach to engage and support families, ensuring each family gets the right support at the right time. Working pattern: Monday to Friday with flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend work to meet the needs of the service. Some key activities/objectives include: Plan and support delivery of targeted service elements, producing KPI's and outcomes. To strengthen families in a trauma informed way; promote resilience and self-care to prevent children and young people requiring more specialist and intensive support through high quality and impactful direct work. To support families to access universal services as appropriate. To offer a range of other evidence-based interventions to support their work with families. Complete and upload all relevant forms (risk assessments, Consent, GDPR, CC registration form). Work with the wider teams within the Family Hub Offer to meet the needs of the service across the borough. Working in collaboration with agencies to strengthen the exit strategy to ensure sustainable change. To capture the voice and experience of children and young people and utilise this to inform and develop service delivery.
