Psychology Graduate Support Role at a Primary School in Wokingham
Are you a psychology graduate seeking your first step into mental health support? Do you have experience working with children with SEMH, SEN, ASD, and ADHD?
A lovely school in Wokingham is looking for a Psychology Graduate to join their team starting in September. The role involves supporting children with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, and you will be a valued part of a supportive team dedicated to student development.
The school is seeking a Psychology Graduate to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH who is resilient and patient, as well as a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD, who are part of small groups with complex needs.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
2. Assisting children in understanding teacher instructions.
3. Working with individual learners 1:1 or with small groups in the Learning Support department.
4. Tracking and recording pupil progress.
You will be well supported and encouraged to promote teamwork to develop the best learning environment for the students. The school values investing in their staff and aims to challenge and support their team throughout your placement.
