We are pleased to offer a new opportunity for a full time HR Administrator to join our HR department on a 6 month fixed term contract.
We are offering hybrid working and so the role will be based at our Sidcup office 2 days per week, as well as working from home. The role is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week and will be joining a well-established HR team consisting of a HR manager, Senior HR Administrator and HR Administrators.
As a HR Administrator you will work as part of a team to provide a professional HR administrative service to the organisation ensuring compliance with current HR legislation.
You will also…
* Provide a proactive HR administrative service to key client areas both internally and externally.
* Ensure that all relevant checks including those relating to legal and statutory compliance are undertaken in a timely manner.
* Ensure that changes that affect an employees pay, including changes to personal details are processed in a timely manner and in line with payroll cut off dates.
* Maintain and update the HR systems with all employee changes and ensure accuracy of all records.
* Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR issues referring more complex issues to the Senior HR Administrator.
* Monitor the HR email inbox and respond to queries, monitoring issues and escalating patterns.
* Carry out surveys on new recruits and those that have left the organisation to assist with increased retention rates.
Our ideal candidate looks like this!
* Previous experience as a HR Administrator or similar role
* Understanding of the role of an HR department in a medium sized organisation
* Knowledge and understanding of UK & European employment legislation
* Knowledge of the Disclosure and Barring Service
* Experience of using databases to store, manipulate and retrieve data
* Experience of using Microsoft Office packages in an office environment
* Able to work under pressure and to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and sensitivity
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
