Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday
We are working with an established, growing business based in Telford who are looking to recruit a
Customer Services and Internal Sales Executive to join their team. This is a newly created role in the business where you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be working within the Operations department. Our client is looking for someone who will work closely with the Sales Manager and the Warehouse and Transport Coordinator to provide excellent customer service and sales support to help ensure company's targets and objectives are met. You will take responsibility and pride in the quality of your work, acting in the best interests of your colleagues and the Company at all times. This is an excellent opportunity to join our client in a newly created role which will grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
1. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will also work closely with the Customer Service and Sales Coordinator to provide excellent customer service and sales support to help ensure Company targets and objectives are met.
2. Target customers with new products and services.
3. Take an active interest in reviewing processing and procedures, balancing efficiency while maintaining an exemplary level of service.
4. Develop and support the quotes process.
5. Develop sales and customer services processes using current systems.
6. Take ownership of internal sales and customer services processes.
7. Support the growth of new and existing business accounts.
8. Encourage a team mindset to assist other team members.
9. Take responsibility and pride in the quality of your work, always acting in the best interests of your colleagues and the Company.
Skills and Experience
1. Work well as part of a team and independently to achieve targets set by the management team.
2. Have a proactive attitude to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
3. Plan own workload and manage time effectively.
4. Work with colleagues in the US.
5. Enter sales orders and customer information onto Plex.
6. Produce order acknowledgements.
7. Maintain confidentiality.
8. Show willingness to learn new skills and undertake training.
9. Carry out your role to the best of your abilities and seek help and guidance as needed.
10. Carry out general office admin duties.
11. Attend meetings and take notes as required.
12. Provide prompt responses to customer queries received by email and phone calls.
13. Carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably requested by management.
14. Follow company health and safety procedures and report any areas for improvement to management, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is always maintained.
