Our client, a leading UK retail organisation, is looking for a Senior Finance Process Manager to manage a virtual network team of process analysts and SMEs.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing guidance and input to other activities including data conversion and cleansing, reporting remediation, testing, training, and deployment planning.
2. Designing and supporting UAT scenarios and execution to confirm the integrity of your end-to-end process design.
3. Continued engagement and support of Process Owner network post-deployment.
4. Identification of expertise and resource requirements and potential gaps within project teams and processes, drawing on your wider network to ensure the right people are involved at the right time.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
1. Qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
2. Expertise & knowledge from a background in finance, with strong knowledge and experience of financial reporting and consolidation systems, including statutory (local) and US GAAP reporting; Cognos and SAP experience an advantage.
3. Very good depth knowledge in SAP S4 HANA with the latest technology and functionality.
4. Ability to explain complex financial issues to those with a non-finance background and build strong relationships with senior business partners across the business.
5. Ability to build and grow existing networks across the business, with the ability to identify areas where further support is required.
6. Appreciation of US SOX controls environment, and an understanding of system controls.
