Cover Supervisor
Location: Rhyl
(Full or Part Time Shift Patterns Available)
We are seeking Cover Supervisors who can fit in with an energetic, fun, and dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking to start their PGCE this September in a well-led, collaborative, and supportive environment or for a teaching assistant with previous experience in classroom management.
The role involves providing cover for whole classes to cover short-term teacher absences.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring that the work left for the pupils by the absent teacher is completed.
2. Confidently engaging with the class.
3. Managing classroom behaviour.
4. Working in line with the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policy.
Requirements:
1. Strong communication skills.
2. Ability to manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
3. Experience working with children and young people in the last 2 years or a relevant qualification.
4. You will hold a valid Child Workforce DBS or be willing to process one through Excell Supply.
