Job Summary
A5 ward is a 28 bedded Medical Specialities ward, predominately specialising in Gastroenterology. We are looking for a Ward Clerk to join our team to support the day-to-day running of a dynamic ward, liaise with various teams throughout the Trust, facilitate safe discharges from hospital, and help communicate with patients, their friends, and family.
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment, work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to maintain smooth running of the ward service and care. They must have excellent communication skills, a patient-first approach to work, be able to prioritise, organise, be highly motivated, possess a calm approach to the working day, and have a good sense of humour. They will also need to keep clear records in line with information governance.
