We are working with a primary school in the Uxbridge area, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4pm. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in their development.
While previous experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant is not essential, we are looking for candidates who have recent experience working with children in any capacity.

Role:
- You will be supporting SEN pupils within the classroom and outside in 1:1 or small group settings.
- Working closely with the teacher, you will assist pupils with physical, behavioural, or learning difficulties.
- You will adapt your approach to suit the individual needs of each pupil, ensuring they can fully engage with their learning.
- You will contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and active listening skills are essential for motivating pupils to learn.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations are key qualities for this role.
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to different activities and teaching approaches.
