We are seeking a motivated and efficient Administration Assistant to support our School Business Manager with administration supporting recruitment, health & safety, staff training, compliance, etc. With training and development from both our academy trust and the business manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to build experience whilst contributing to the smooth running of our school, all within a happy and collaborative environment.,
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the School Business Manager and other leadership team members.
* Maintain accurate records and data management in line with data protection procedures.
* Assist with recruitment, payroll, health & safety, and safeguarding processes.
* Liaise with external contractors and service providers such as cleaning, catering, and IT support.
* Use IT systems confidently, including Microsoft Office and school-specific software.
* Support content management on the school website and IT-based administration initiatives.
* Handle day-to-day office operations, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
* Administer first aid and act as a Fire Marshall when necessary.
* Provide occasional playground and dining hall supervision for pupil safety and wellbeing.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience working in a school or educational environment (desirable).
