About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our team in Chinoiserie at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
* Oversee daily operation of the department for smooth service.
* Supervise and manage staff, including scheduling and training.
* Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing issues promptly.
* Maintain quality standards for food, beverages, and service.
* Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
* Assist in budget management and financial targets.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
* Support event planning and execution.
* Prepare reports on operations and performance.
* Identify and implement improvements in service and operations.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within hospitality environment.
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and quality control.
* Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address guest concerns and collaborate with team members.
* Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
* Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and experience in ensuring compliance.
