Are you looking for your next health and safety opportunity? We are looking for an experienced, motivated and suitably qualified Health and Safety Consultant Team leader, to join our successful and enthusiastic team who provide professional in-house leadership, advice and support to its in-house services and employees as well as having a strong traded brand that complements and supports the delivery of services to Norfolk County Council.
As part of the Health, Safety and Well-being Team you will be a key member of the management team, responsible for managing the para-professional and support roles within the HSW team, and be involved in areas of work such as:
1. Providing professional advice and guidance
2. Developing and delivering our policies and strategy
3. Developing directorate level reports and delivery
4. Developing and delivering specialist H&S training
5. Acting as a focal point, supporting directorates, teams and their managers to identify and address issues that impact on the organisation's ability to deliver services safely
6. Undertaking proactive monitoring visits and supporting incident investigations
7. Supporting our traded service strategy and delivery
This role requires individuals with the ability to interpret H&S legislation into workable solutions, typically encountering situations where you are working from first principles.
