This apprenticeship combines off-the-job training with on-the-job learning, and you will be supported at every step of the way. Our apprentices obtain a nationally recognised qualification upon successful completion of the programme.
Salary (Year 1): £7.50
Hours: 41.5 Hours per week
The Role:
1. Handle inbound inquiries professionally and courteously for the Aftersales Department.
2. Understand customer needs and recommend the appropriate services.
3. Create workshop bookings for servicing and repairs via phone and email.
4. Prepare daily job cards for workshop visits, ensuring all details are accurate, including recalls, service packages, and warranties.
5. Upload appointment information to the department platform and archive job cards after visits.
6. Promote and identify service plans for both new and existing customers as a retention tool.
7. Use manufacturer data to find new service booking opportunities, sending digital communications and making outbound calls.
8. Identify new opportunities for customers using the BMW/MINI Assist program, ensuring a seamless experience while their car is being repaired.
9. Capture any accident repair inquiries and forward them to the appropriate department.
The Training Qualification:
1. Level 2 Customer Service
2. As an apprentice Service Advisor, you will liaise between customers and technicians for scheduling services, listening to requests and estimating costs. You will develop not only your interpersonal skills but your digital skills as well.
Applicants must possess the following:
1. GCSE grades level 4 or above in English, Maths and two other subjects (or equivalent qualifications).
2. Team player.
3. Dependable and punctual.
4. Ability to operate well under pressure.
