What skills and experience we're looking for
Huncoat Primary School is a Good school and we are very proud of our recent inspection in December 2024. We are part of the LET Education Academy Trust: compromising of 4 schools in the local area, two primary schools and 2 secondary schools.
We are looking at appointing a full time Early Years Practioner Level 6 or equivalent, to lead our successful and well established Nursery. Our Nursery has growing numbers due to our opening to 30 hours plus wrap around care in January 2024.
We are looking for:
• A successful candidate who loves the Early Years and passionate about young children/ is knowledgeable about Development Matters and how 3-5 year olds progress, develop and learn
• Level 6 or equivalent with GCSE Grade C/4,5 Maths and English
• Someone with a caring/ nurturing approach to our youngest children
• A candidate who establishes good routines straight away with our children
• A team player who enjoys working with our established EYFS team
• Someone who is forward thinking in new ideas and wishes to self-develop themselves
