Take a closer look at the role: Job description: We are looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer to join the Team at our Silverstone facility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to manufacture high-precision components for motorsport applications. You will work closely with our engineering and machine shop teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, maintaining quality standards and adhering to tight deadlines. What you will be doing: Create, modify and optimize CNC programs for 5 Axis Milling Machines. Collaborate with design/Manufacturing engineers to improve manufacturability of components. Perform Toolpath simulations. Support the continuous improvement of machining processes and workflows. Maintain accurate documentation of programs and machining processes for future reference. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the machine shop environment. Document processes and provide training to staff on CAD/CAM systems as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a CAD/CAM Programmer, preferably HyperMill in a motorsport or high-performance engineering environment. Strong knowledge of CAM programming and operating CNC machines. Excellent understanding of machining practices, including workholding/tooling selection and optimization. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
