We have a new opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our Menswear team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for: Working closely with the Senior Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and CEO You must have an interest in fashion and preferably a background working for a luxury fashion brand. Manage stock intake, monitoring stock levels by restocking products to maximise sell-through with full understanding, maintenance, and management of own WSSI. Prepare and present weekly trading information to the wider business Identify and complete actions for daily/weekly trading issues. Responsible for identifying and resolving any data inaccuracies within the product range and WSSI Managing the critical path to ensure smooth development of the sampling process, maintaining key delivery schedules and communicate directly with suppliers Manage monthly product drops, repeats and availability Identify and raise PO’s in-line with the buying and delivery schedule To complete daily, weekly, monthly analysis of product performance Re-forecasting, analysing of WSSI & communicating changes and findings to Buying team Accurately forecasts new product launches to achieve the optimum profit, balanced with sell through whilst maintaining high product availability, Identify any overstocks and recommend appropriate action Identify growth opportunities within the product range Using historical analysis, present conclusions to support range planning Provide phasing analysis to support range building process with the Senior Buyer, understanding the range building process and taking responsibility for the merch function from start to end Ensure products are delivered to warehouse in time with full Merchandising capabilities and managing the delivery schedule Challenge and escalate any dates that are or will be missed or will affect launch availability in line with the critical path Pre-empt future problems using supplier knowledge, key shipping information and liaise with Marketing and Warehouse departments React to changes in demand and logistics Support the Buying team with ad-hoc reports as and when required Provide guidance to MAAs and AMs to ensure quality of work whilst supporting their personal growth and expansion of knowledge Essential Skills/Experience Minimum of 3 years’ Merchandising experience Experience working with suppliers is essential An understanding of Manière De Voir's brand vision and customer profile To have a great understanding of fashion with knowledge and how to grow a business profitably Hard-working with a strong passion and enthusiasm for the industry Willingness to learn and increase skillset and knowledge Strong communication skills, both verbally and written Excellent teamwork and influential skills Strong analytical mindset and ability, with proven experience in an analytical role where Merchandising was applicable A creative problem solver & decisive decision-making skill Strong computer literacy skills - Advanced excel user with confidence to manipulate data Analytical skills - Comfortable working with and strategically analysing data Strong commercial awareness - Knowledge of wider marketplace and context of broader business Salary: Competitive
