Job Description: FLT (Reach Truck Driver) - Experience is needed but a valid license is not required, as fully paid training provided As an FLT (Reach Truck Driver), your responsibilities will include: - Operating a reach truck to scan, move, and manage pallets efficiently. - Conducting stock checks to ensure accuracy and quality. - Loading and unloading trailers with precision and care. - Adhering to all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Role Overview: Operating and Transporting: - Responsibly operate a Reach Truck Forklift Truck (FLT) to move pallets and materials across the shop floor. - Efficiently transfer products between various production areas, ensuring adherence to production timelines. Transporting Goods - Unload incoming trucks and relocate materials to assigned storage zones. - Prepare finished goods for distribution, ensuring proper securing and orderly arrangement. Health and Safety: - Strictly follow health and safety protocols and guidelines. - Conduct pre-operational checks on the FLT to verify its operational status. - Promptly report any safety issues or incidents. Collaboration: - Forge close working relationships with production and warehouse teams to facilitate smooth operations. - Effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate material movements. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Previous experience as an FLT (Reach Truck) Driver is required. A valid FLT (Reach Truck) license is not mandatory but is a plus. Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety and operational procedures. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
