Service Care Solutions is working alongside a forward-thinking county council, based in Suffolk, which is in need of a litigation lawyer to join their team handle a mixed caseload of civil litigation and insurance matter s. If you are looking to make a lasting impact on a growing community, then this could be the role for you The position can pay a rate of £50-£55ph umbrella and the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance. Attendance required for office and/or Court - in the office one/two days a week preferably (Wednesday and/or Thursday) and limited court attendance required. The Responsibilities Of The Litigation Lawyer Role: Manage a varied caseload, including civil litigation and insurance matters. The role will also deal with some work on debt recovery cases (with a particular focus on care home fees), planning enforcement, drainage and highways issues. Represent the council in court and at tribunals as required. Requirements: A qualified solicitor or legal executive with a valid practicing certificate in England and Wales. Has proven experience in civil litigation and insurance cases law. Demonstrates knowledge of local government legal work, including debt recovery, planning enforcement, and highway issues. Possesses excellent advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills.
