We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie/Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Assist the head chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost management. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistent quality and presentation of dishes. Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring efficient inventory management. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations. Contribute to the development of new menu items and specials. Demonstrate creativity and innovation in culinary techniques and dish presentation. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors, and ingredients Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Flexibility to work split shifts and weekends, with occasional longer hours. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Working Hours and Compensation: 30-40 hours per week, with split shifts from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (sometimes longer) Schedule includes Monday to Sunday, with flexibility for days off. Sunday shifts may extend until 6:00 PM due to lunch service. Hourly wage ranging from £11 to £14, commensurate with experience.
