Transport Co-Ordinator C£27k Benefits North Wales Our client is a niche FMCG Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Transport professional as they look to recruit a Transport Co-Ordinator at their site in Wrexham. Working in a s mall team, reporting into the Transport Manager in the UK, this role will require a candidate with strong communication skills both via email and telephone. The role will include management of Transport orders and Warehouse schedules with coordinating deliveries and updating the internal system/s to align data. Key Accountabilities as Transport Co-Ordinator: Book Transport for orders with external partner/s Co-ordinate collections and deliveries with external supplier/s Co-ordinate delivery information and align with our internal system/s Share daily / Weekly Schedule updates to Warehouse/s and actively monitor any changes, keeping all parties informed. Upload documents relating to Transport orders into our system The Ideal Person for the Transport Co-Ordinator role: Strong Communication & I.T Skills Organizational skills Strong understanding of supply chain management Minimum 2 years work experience in Transport or Multi-temp Logistics Some understanding of logistics software Problem-solving abilities Ability to work within a team Geographical knowledge of Europe and UK Understanding of Customs processes for inter-continental trade.
