The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Health & Safety Consultant to deliver expert consultancy services. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys engaging with clients and ensuring compliance with UK health & safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct health & safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations in compliance with CDM regulations.
* Provide consultancy services to businesses in construction, manufacturing, and other high-risk industries, ensuring best practices and legal compliance.
* Attend construction prestart meetings, complete reports and site safety inspections
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and tailored solutions.
* Work independently, managing multiple projects effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Essential Skills & Experience
* NEBOSH qualified (essential)
* Member of IOSH
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in health & safety, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or similar high-risk industries.
* Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and UK health & safety compliance.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio effectively.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits
