About the Opportunity: Work on the high-profile BEP Project at Sellafield, one of the UK’s leading engineering and infrastructure projects. Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure temporary works are implemented to the highest safety and quality standards. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of temporary works processes and help ensure the successful delivery of the project. Role Outline/Responsibilities: Ensure that Temporary Works (TW) support the delivery programme and maintain safe, efficient use across all stages of their life cycle. Deputise for the TWC in their absence and manage on-site control of the erection, inspection, maintenance, safe-use, and dismantling of TW. Produce and maintain accurate records of inspections, including dates, SWL, and personnel involved, ensuring that signage is appropriately attached to TW with relevant information. Conduct Temporary Works design assurance through regular audits, meetings with engineering and project teams, and identifying areas for improvement and best practice. Develop and manage relationships with technical consultants and suppliers to deliver effective solutions and support tender processes. Provide support as a Civils QC Inspector by ensuring civil engineering works are compliant with contract specifications, attending vendor meetings, and reviewing technical documentation. Here’s What You’ll Need: Proven experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator or similar role. Strong knowledge of temporary works processes, design assurance, and safety standards. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in civil engineering, with a solid understanding of contractor and client specifications. Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presenting. Ability to travel to the project site regularly and work within a collaborative team environment.
