VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large not-for-profit organisation in Ballymoney with the recruitment of a Housing Advisor to join their growing team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.
Salary
£23,184 per year + fantastic benefits
Responsibilities:
* To provide an excellent customer service by acting as the first point of contact for tenants and other customers.
* Deal with house sales enquiries by providing information on the organisation's policies.
* Generating offers of housing accomodation and assisting housing officers in the allocation process.
* Creating and maintaining tenancy records.
* To provide advice and guidance to tenants and customers relating to complaints about service quality.
* Processing rent payments from tenants.
* Scheduling appointments for Housing Officers to deal with more complex housing issues.
* Establish and maintain manual and electronic records and filing systems.
* Assisting with promoting the service by designing leaflets & updating information on the website.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a busy office environment
* Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a customer service role.
* Experience of preparing reports for management.
* Strong knowledge of administrative systems.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to plan and meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English Language and Maths
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience of working in a housing management department.
* 2 A Level Qualifications.
* Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 Award in Housing.
