About the Role
In this role, you'll oversee and lead manufacturing operations within a defined production area, ensuring the delivery of top-quality products while driving continuous improvement. You'll inspire a culture of collaboration and innovation, leveraging cutting-edge tools and processes to meet key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Champion a culture of High-Performance Work Teams (HPWTs) to drive employee engagement and operational success.
2. Implement Lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve processes.
3. Deliver on key metrics, including safety, productivity, on-time delivery, and quality standards.
4. Provide leadership in implementing safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Develop, coach, and mentor team members, empowering them to achieve their potential.
6. Lead maintenance and facilities resources to ensure effective asset management.
7. Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, enabling employee success and empowering decision-making across the organisation.
What You'll Need
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2. Experience:
1. 3-5 years in manufacturing/operations.
2. 1-3 years in a leadership role, managing teams.
3. Skills:
1. Strong communication, leadership, and coaching abilities.
2. Knowledge of Lean principles (6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).
3. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
4. Problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D, A3).
5. Ability to balance multiple priorities and drive change.
