The Role:
We are seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical installation work, across various sites within Yorkshire. Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules.
2. Performing reactive repairs and ensuring all work is accurately recorded on the CAFM system.
3. Assisting with general building maintenance activities as needed.
4. Participating in a call-out rota (1 week in every 6) after the initial training period.
5. Ensuring all reports and documentation are completed to the required standard.
6. Maintaining mechanical systems.
What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
1. City & Guilds 18th Edition.
2. Electrical Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 preferred).
3. Experience working with:
1. Industrial switchgear
2. Generator changeovers
3. Distribution boards for essential and non-essential supplies.
Desirable:
1. Basic mechanical knowledge.
2. HV AP qualification (training will be provided if needed).
3. Additional experience in any of the following:
1. DC Systems
2. Air-conditioning/chiller plant
3. Alarm testing
4. ACBs
5. UPS systems
6. Standby Generators
