As the Digital Solutions Technical Support, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our client SMTGB’s digital solutions. Reporting into the Site Solutions manager you’ll provide a 1st line ‘triage’ service, supporting internal and external customers on digital solution inquiries. You’ll investigate and help troubleshoot equipment issues involving; Connectivity, Registrations, Activations, Applications, Data feeds and Reports, while assisting technical experts deliver remote and/or first fix resolutions with equipment breakdown.
Other activity:
Allocate and manage solution support issues with customers, internal teams and suppliers
Identify opportunities to introduce services or solutions to grow solution success
Support our client’s customers, sales and service teams to ensure maximum uptime of digital solutions
Manage Solution subscriptions and future Saas product offerings
Contribute to the enhancement and optimisation of our client’s digital offerings
Skills and Experience
Diagnosis and resolution of software issues, especially related to API feeds
Knowledge of off-highway machinery telemetry data is ideal
Understanding of network communication setup and configuration
Experience supporting construction site technologies
Basic understanding of GNSS technology
Ability to explain complex technical situations to people who are not digital literate
Good communication and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English
Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
Customer Service mindset and proactive approach
Troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
