Job overview
The dental contracting and commissioning team is a small, dynamic team responsible for commissioning primary, community, and secondary dental services.
The role offers variety and an opportunity to support the improvement of dental services across the system.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will support the team in the delivery of day-to-day contracting and commissioning functions, in particular (but not limited to):
* Management of the generic dental inbox, coordinating responses in a timely manner and liaising with appropriate members of the dental team and wider stakeholders.
* Provide project and administrative support to the team for successful delivery of the dental workplan and priorities.
* Undertake collation and analysis of information to support production of business cases and Board/Committee reports.
* Co-ordination of responses for PALS, Complaints, and FOIs.
* Support contract management functions of dental contracts.

Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area.
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, or information analysis.
* Skills for communication on complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
* Ability to pull together comprehensive draft reports, data, and letters.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
* Skills for managing aspects of projects ensuring they meet key performance indicators/financial targets.
