Purpose:
Under the management of the Pharmacy and Warehouse Operations Manager, the Dispatcher will maximize fleet efficiency by scheduling and coordinating the delivery activities of drivers as trained and specified in the company’s Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Assign daily delivery of parcels and coordinate run schedules
2. Communicate required maintenance and repairs of vehicle fleet
3. Oversee pre/post trip vehicle inspections
4. Perform general housekeeping duties
5. Report and escalate all delivery deficiencies to the appropriate department
6. Ensure all delivery documentation is complete/submitted in a timely manner
7. Learn and help out on a daily basis with Supplies and Equipment
8. Use computer skills to create reports, and to monitor order and outs
9. Willing to learn and work between two lines of business (Dispatching and Supplies and Equipment)
Qualifications:
1. Completion of high school
2. Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a dispatcher
3. Good knowledge of the working areas and mapping logistics
4. Health and safety awareness training is an asset
Skills:
1. Fast Learner
2. Team Player – Willing to help out in what is needed
3. Candidate must demonstrate organization, flexibility, adaptability, and sound time management skills.
4. Candidates must be computer literate
5. Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
